Service Description

This is a multi-age writing class designed to inspire thoughtful, imaginative writing in students while teaching and enhancing solid writing skills. Students will have the opportunity to write, poetry, prose, short stories, and dialogue. We will use classical and modern children's literature to fuel our writing exploration. This class will provide the opportunity to work with individuals and small groups meeting the students at their writing level. The multi-age setting will give students the chance to work with peer mentors and share writing within the class to create an exciting and motivational atmosphere. If you sign your child up for our morning and afternoon classes on the same day we recommend you sign them up for the Down Time program. All students not in the program will need to be picked up and taken off premises by their parent or guardian and brought back for the next class. Due to insurance regulations our Down Time Staff cannot escort or care for a child who is not in the program.
