The stories will embrace the varied fabric and expansive human experiences in culture, literature and history. The class format will include discussions where we analyze the text and story, in class reading as well as reading homework assignments. There will be in class and homework writing assignments about the material, authors and cultural impact of the work we read. We will also research the authors, their lives and the life experiences that influenced their writing.
