The class will start with ancient migration theories, first peoples around the globe, the rise of agriculture, society, empires, and technology from first tools, to modern systems. How did written language, medicine, food, and technological advances in travel and communication help and harm humanity and the planet. This class will focus on hands-on small group projects, research and presentations.
