Class experiences will include: learning about holidays, architecture, historical figures, reading atlases and trying foods from the various cultures we are studying. Teacher’s Bio: Onalee is an accomplished educator and artist. She has 20 years experience teaching in NYC working as a 6th grade public school teacher, running after school programs and tutoring students of all ages. Her career as a professional artist: face & body painter, portrait & mural painter & balloon artist has allowed her to travel internationally bringing her art to Mexico and Australia. Onalee has been bringing her passion for secular, inclusive, progressive, decolonized education to the homeschool community for five years educating her brothers children and organizing a co-op for 20 homeschool families. Her education includes a BA of Fine Arts from Boston College and a New York City Teaching Fellowship.
