In this class we will read and analyze classic and modern writings with the goal of further honing our own writing chops. Students will have the opportunity to work on varying writing genres including what they are most connected to as well as have the chance to participate in writing games and skill building activities. A big part of the class will be to read our work out loud to the class in a supportive dynamic atmosphere. We are hoping to start an online literary magazine on our website this year. There is a break between each High School class. High School aged DD students are welcome to use the teen/teacher lounge and waiting area to eat, socialize, do home work etc. between classes. This is for high school students only. Students in the lower grade classes need to be registered in our Down Time Program or picked up immediately after their class is completed.
