We’ll learn the basics of cartooning, figure drawing, and perspective. We’ll talk about character building, costume and character design. We will learn about the different roles in comic production - writer, penciller, inker colorist. We will use writing prompts to brainstorm short stories and translate them into comics pages, make small moment and poetry comics and create visual transformation strips. We’ll also look at the greats in comics and analyze what made them great. And possibly, work in small groups to create a comic together!
