Fall 2023 Sept. 12th, 19th, 26th Oct. 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st Nov. 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th Dec.5th (13 Days) Fee: $455 + $35 material fee per term Winter 2024 Jan. 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th Feb. 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th March, 5th, 12th (10 days) Fee: $350 + $35 material fee per term Spring 2024 March 19th, 26th April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th, May 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th (10 days) (No Class April 23rd Spring break) Fee: $350 + $35 material fee per term Class Description: We’ll cover force and motion, momentum, theories of gravity, matter and its phases, atoms and molecules, heat, waves, electricity, light, color, and other topics. We’ll use restrained amounts of algebra, but no calculus. Physics topics will be enriched by classroom activities. Weekly reading, exercises, and homework will be at a Regents level - success will depend on students' own initiative. There is a break between each High School class. High School aged DD students are welcome to use the teen/teacher lounge and waiting area to eat, socialize, do home work etc. between classes. This is for high school students only. Students in the lower grade classes need to be registered in our Down Time Program or picked up immediately after their class is completed.
