Acting Out Literature

Service Description

Each week students in this class will explore literature through creative drama, movement, and improvisation. We will use classical children’s literature and poetry to inspire our creative endeavors. Projects will also include working with props, costumes and set pieces to make literature come alive. There will be a presentation at the end of the fall term and the end of the spring term. Students in this class will have two productions a year, one in the fall and one in the spring. For the fall production Acting Out Jr. Mainstage, Acting Out Modern Masters, Acting Out Lit and Acting Out a Musical will combine their talents for a Variety show on Dec. 19th. Fall 2022 Oct. 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, Nov. 3rd, 10th, 17th Dec. 1st, 8th, 15th, (11 Days) No Class Nov. 24th Thanksgiving Fee: $350 + $30 material fee per term Fall performance Dec 17th Rehearsal from 12-4pm performance 7pm to 9pm Winter 2023 Jan. 5th, 12th, 19th,26th Feb. 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd Mar. 2nd, 9th (10 days) Fee: $350 + $30 material fee per term Spring 2023 Mar. 16th, 23rd, 30th, April 20th, 27th, May 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th(field trip) June 1st No Class April 6 & 13th Spring Break Fee: $350 + $30 material fee per term For more information and registration: follow the link and fill out the enquiry form. If you sign your child up for our morning and afternoon classes on the same day we recommend you sign them up for the Down Time program. All students not in the program will need to be picked up and taken off premises by their parent or guardian and brought back for the next class. Due to insurance regulations our Down Time Staff cannot escort or care for a child who is not in the program.
