The Students of our Gender Studies Class are hosting a Heritage Fair to celebrate the many cultural roots of our community
Students and families are encouraged to bring songs, music, dances, games, food and activities from your family and family cultures. There will be flag making to represent different parts of the world our community hails from. A giant map to show our individual journeys to where we are now. Some people also plan to bring poster board presentations and slideshows. Of course there will be the universal sharing of food and good conversation that connects all people.
