6:30 PM18:30

PUNK (Parents Understanding Neurodiverse Kids)

The purpose of PUNK is to give parents of neurodiverse and learning different children an opportunity to meet each other, and receive emotional and pragmatic support from others who understand first-hand the issues.

Neurodiverse and/or learning different kids include children on or with:

·      the autism spectrum

·      sensory or auditory processing issues

·      ADD/ADHD

·      dyslexia and dysgraphia

·      social pragmatics issues

Finding the appropriate resources and supports for our children can be an exhausting, isolating and sometimes painful process. Parents also need support and community through this journey.

Because of this, PUNK is an adult-only group.  We want to give parents a chance to fully express themselves.

This will be potluck style – please feel free to bring some chips, cheese, wine, juice or whatever suits you.

If you don’t have the time to bring anything other than yourself that is more than enough!

We will be meeting on a monthly basis.

Any questions, please contact rachel.lavine1@gmail.com.
