Fall 2023 Sept. 12th, 19th, 26th Oct. 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st Nov. 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th Dec.5th (13 Days) Fee: $455 + $35 material fee per term Winter 2024 Jan. 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th Feb. 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th March, 5th, 12th (10 days) Fee: $350 + $35 material fee per term Spring 2024 March 19th, 26th April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th, May 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th (10 days) (No Class April 23rd Spring break) Fee: $350 + $35 material fee per term Class Description: We will go in depth with arithmetic topics ranging from fractions, decimals, exponents, ratios, negative numbers, and inequalities. From the start, we will introduce the basics of algebra and geometry, and use and develop these ideas throughout the year. We’ll use visual and hands-on demonstrations when possible. We’ll also discuss the history of mathematics, and the ways math is encountered outside of the classroom. This class will be tailored to the abilities of the students. There will be homework each week, and doing it will be essential to each student’s progress. If you sign your child up for our morning and afternoon classes on the same day we recommend you sign them up for the Down Time program. All students not in the program will need to be picked up and taken off premises by their parent or guardian and brought back for the next class. Due to insurance regulations our Down Time Staff cannot escort or care for a child who is not in the program.
