Introductory Elementary Math

10:00am-11:30am Mondays     Ages 7-9

Our focus will be on mastery of basic operations, understanding of place value, telling time and currency. The work will be cumulative, topics will build upon each other through the course of the fall, winter and spring semesters. The material covered will be compatible with state standards for NY and NJ.  The class is intended as a support/supplement for your child's existing mathematics experience.

Teacher: John Watson

John Watson is a homeschooling dad of two girls, ages 10 and 17. He’s previously worked as a science educator at Liberty Science Center and in afterschool programs throughout NYC with elementary and middle school children.
