10:00am-12:00pm Wednesdays Ages 10-13
This class will be an introduction to chemistry through discussion/presentation and hands-on activities covering topics such as atoms, elements, molecules, matter, chemical reactions and more. The class will be compatible with state standards for NY and NJ. No previous experience with chemistry necessary.
Note taking is encouraged, and class materials will be shared online. Access to shared materials will be easier if your child has their own email address. These will help to reinforce the learning process, as well as prepare them for quizzes. The class is cumulative, so topics will build upon each other through the course of the fall, winter and spring semesters of Different Directions.
