Acting Out/Mainstage Production Class

3:00pm-6:00pm Wednesdays     Ages 11-17

Acting is a great way for people to learn, practice, and hone life skills that will serve them in all aspects of their lives. Acting and improv games, studying plays, performing great works of writing, learning to respect and communicate with our partners and fellow actors are some of the benefits of participating in an acting class. In this class students will explore interpersonal and intrapersonal communication through acting techniques, games, improvisation, and literature. This year the students of Acting Out will participate in writing and mounting an original production based on iconic characters in detective and mystery novels, solving an age-old urban legend.
