A Closer Look (Science)

10:00am-11:30am Wednesdays     Ages 7-9

Children are scientists at heart.  Their world is a giant lab and every day is an experiment. This year we will cover biology in the fall, physics in the winter, and astronomy in the spring. Students will work using the scientific method, journal writing, and observations.  We will have ample time for experiments, working with microscopes, and exploring through hands-on science projects.  We are planning to visit an observatory, take a field trip, and participate in the NYCHEA science fair in May.
